So a few of us North Island peeps met up a few weeks back on May 26th for a long overdue meet. Thanks to all the Jerks that came up for the road trip from Hamilton, Tauranga, you know who you are.
We met up at the good old Highbrook business park. It’s a nice easy place to get to, and is low vehicle friendly.
It’s always good to meet up with the CJC crew. You might have heard this before but, CJC always has been and always will be first and foremost about friends, then cars second. Like the saying “you are your company”, everyone in the club has like minded attitudes, cars and personalities.
I’m all for meets, and it’s good that there are more and more popping up. It’s not just about the cars, and definitely about doing a fat skid au bey! It’s about getting away from that computer screen and meeting real people in real life and putting a face to that username on the forum/ website or a car you’ve seen.
Anyway, enough talking, here’s some pics!!
Matt brought his big power DC2 along, now sporting custom rear diffuser and front splitter.
The Hamilton crew never disappoints!
Damien brang his slick Mitsi on widened steelies.
Jordan drove up his immaculate 4AGE Corolla
Yes your eyes aren’t deceiving you, one of only a few tidy Cefiros left in NZ, owned by Jason.
The Auckland crew made an appearance with a host of different cars.
Wong Fitment Crew also came along lol
Shane rocked up in his new daily, the mighty Corona. Keep an eye out for the feature soon.
