So we’ve been slowly featuring more and more CJC member’s rides over the past few months. You will slowly notice that all CJC rides have some kind of uniqueness, flare and character, this 1997 Honda Civic EK9 is no different.

This immaculate EK9 is owned by John Pearce. At a quick glance, the car pretty much looks like a EK9 with a few tasteful cosmetic mods, which quite frankly work quite well. The car has been lowered on a set of Tein HA damper/ height adjustable coilovers, nicely mated to a set of 16×7” Wedsport TC005’s re-painted in a bright blue hue. I don’t know about you, but when it comes to the exterior of a EK civic, less is always more, which is what I love about John’s car!

Once you start taking a closer look, you can start to pick up on the finer details, like the J’s Racing slotted brake rotors mated to Hawk HP+ pads, Spoon rear lower tie bar, Spoon rear strut bar, and Password JDM front 3point strut bar.

Now this is where things get interesting, under the hood! There’s no B18CR or B16B under here, it’s a fully fledged B20B VTEC monster. John’s B20 is one of a few well built B20B conversions in New Zealand. It’s the finer details of the build that really makes it what it is. He hasn’t just slapped on a B16A VTEC head onto B20B block and left it at that.

Just check out the spec list below! From the fully built Buddyclub head, with its Spec IV cams, valve springs and cam gears, to the fully built block, consisting of JE SRP Forged Pistons, JE Pro Seal Rings, Eagle H Beam Rods and ARP fasteners. The engine also sports RMF narrow style headers mated to a Fujitsubo FGK Exhaust. All of this put together with one of the most renowned ECU’s on the market, a Hondata S300J, to make a VERY healthy 161wkw @8050rpm and 470nm of torque, yep that’s right, at the wheels! With a redline of 9000rpm to match, this car would be nothing but fun to drive.

The dust has finally settled and for the most part we have returned to our daily lives.
With the conclusion of the 4 and Rotary show circuit, this is a look back on Jamboree held at Mainfeild Raceway and lower north island CJC achievements as we head towards the final instalment – the annual Aftermarket Industry Awards dinner.

Bright and early on the morning of the 24th, CJC’s lower North island contingent started to make there way to Manfeild Raceway for setup day. In tow were a brace of striking BMW’s owned by Shan and Whinnie from Wellington, with a set of modifications so fresh it’s tricky to put into words!

Filling out the crew from Wellington were Nimesh, Michael, Spyro, Baz, Matt and Gung, all the the helms of some very tidy and individual cars. In a pair of EK Civics were brothers Baz and Spyro accompanied by Gung’s impressive FD2 Civic Type R sedan. In the corner with three diamonds on the grille was Matt’s potent Lancer, Nimesh’s sublime S13 Silvia resplendent in two-tone turning out for the Nissan fans and rounding up the line up from the oh four was Michael’s slammed USDM style Toyota Bb

En route from Wellington, our intrepid travellers were joined on the trek to Manfeild by the lads from Levin, with Matt.F and Jason giving a last minute spit n’ polish to their Evo 8 and Subaru WRX respectively. Brian, the final member of the CJC collective for the Jamboree was ready and waiting at the show venue already, having travelled up earlier in his clean, dropped and family friendly CL7 Euro R

With the much appreciated help of members other than the pilots of the cars, setup began in earnest with positioning, repositioning and labourious re-repositioning before a satisfactory layout was reached. Ben and Kimberley both pitched in to help out with cleaning of cars, directing the shifting around and of course being charged with recording the all important digital images!

SHOW DAY. The day began, with punters displaying a healthy interest in what CJC had brought to the table at Jamboree. With each event entered, the sheer scope of vehicles and styles within the club seems to be becoming more and more evident. Retro, modern and all the gaps in between filled mean there is something for everyone – and of course all built to the usual high standard. In addition to the static display, four CJC members took the opportunity to head to the dyno challenge arena. Matt F. and Jason hit the Dynapacks in a head to head battle – brother versus brother, diamonds versus stars. The Evo 8 of Matt F. prevailed, not only taking out the unofficial sibling rivalry title but also snapping up a whopping five of the seven dyno challenge trophies on offer! Shortly after, the earlier Lancer of Matt had it’s time to shine, but with some small issues did not manage to knock it’s younger brother off the top spot. In a final flourish for the CJC dyno domination, Brians Accord made a late entry to claim the top NA power figure.

A coveted judges award was bestowed upon Shan’s super fresh BMW 2002, by no means a small feat with these awards being open to EVERY car present at the show. Expect to see more of this car in the near future.

Gung’s FD2R Civic impressed also, with its ever changing array of real McCoy Japanese parts from rolling stock, to aero to complete interior alterations. This devotion to quality, and attention to detail saw the car take out the Best Honda gong, and the J’s Racing aero also earned one of CJC’s absolute nicest members the Best Bodykit Suited to Vehicle accolade.

Crazy ginger kid Jarred Bird was the sole entry under the CJC banner for the superlap event held as part of the Jamboree. After a 12 month rebuild, the car hit the track for a long awaited return to competition with just over 350kw on tap from the olive drab machine. A suspect alternator saw the day off to a dubious start, however some resourceful work by Jarred’s crew saw a new alternator fitted with the efforts rewarded by the quickest time in the Pro Street division (yes folks… this thing is still street legal!) with a lap time in the 1:15 zone.

As the day drew to a close, the obligatory group shot was staged – a perfect way to showcase the camaraderie amongst the group. Looking back throughout the show season, the one humbling aspect is the mateship and focus on good times, pushing the crew to create, and get out into the public eye and enjoy these creations for the one common interest that has drawn them all together. Driving.

First things first, this is my first blog entry so bare with me! In this feature we have Basil and Spyro Serepiso’s with their clean, understated slammed civics.

As you guys may have noticed, a majority of these blog posts feature mainly our north island member’s cars, after the success in our participation with CJC’s debut in the 4 and Rotary Jamboree show held in Manfeild last month, our stand getting a surprising amount of attention, even scooping up a few awards!

Ecstatic with our result we decided we should get the ball rolling with featuring what lurks within the lower north island crew and their cars.

It was decided we plan to organize monthly meets, and catch ups with the members, and it is worth noting as CJC has always been mates before cars, and that’s what I love about CJC the tight knit community with a shared common passion for cars, and everything else in between.

The first Wellington meet started off with a meet in Lower Hutt, meeting at the notorious Wellington parkup spot at Melling on a perfect, chilly Friday the 13th. We decided to incorporate our first official meet with the long awaited shoot of two local cars, after deciding on a spot we ended up at the BNZ on Harbour Quay.

With resident CJC snapper Chim from Photomassive behind the static lens, and Duncan Rouke from Slotmedia whipping out his videography skills, with two talented photographers covering the shoot the end result speaks for itself.

I have always been a fan of these two cars, first we have Basils facelift GF-EK9 and Spyros rare Vi-RS sedan, a rare and sought find within the Honda enthusiast fraternity. Spryo’s civic is actually his first car, and Basils Ek9 being his third Honda.

Note that both these cars are daily driven at this height all day every day, Baz attended the Jerkfest Mega meet/track day at Taupo Motorsport Park last year and gave his car good thrashing around the track, which is the best part about them.

With limited budgets to work with Baz and Spyto have produced two of Wellingtons most cleanest EK shape civics, built from a labor of love with sweat and tears. With the addition of a few simple touches and modifications which has resulted with what you see below, not bad for a couple of Uni students!

For you Honda nuts out there you may have noticed Baz’s car borrows a number of styling cues from a well known civic in the States, Dut http://www.dut619.com/Album10.htm I think the look is timeless and never grows old.

I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Spyros Vi-RS features a standard d15b with a slushbox (it’s only a daily driver!) an ITR 4×114 hub conversion sitting nicely on Cusco adjustable suspension the footwork rolls on Hasemi 17×8, and 17×9 in +32 offset with 5mm slip on spacers. Rubber in size 205 40 17s in the back and 185 35 17s on the front, Spyro pulled the centres off got the lips polished, and painstakingly polished every nut by hand before getting the centres resprayed and putting them back together, coupled with extensively rolled front and rear guards, the final product comes together very well.

Baz’s EK9 breathes through a Js racing carbon ‘whale penis’ intake, Mugen twin loop and cat back exhaust expelling from Fujitsubo FGK headers. The power plant still features the rev happy B16B motor, this makes for a pretty sweet combination in the aural department with abit of pep to match

The car sits on 16×7 Sprinthart CP-Rs with 195 45 16 tires, sitting on BC Gold adjustable suspension again with extensive rolled guards to cope with Wellingtons bumpy roads, he has just added 15mm bolt on spacers and plans to go wider to achieve that flush look.

By the time we knew it, we were fast approaching the early hours of the morning, taking pics like this takes time and patience, but it was all well worth braving the cold winter Wellington night, heres one last group shot to end a great night.

So, what’s the best thing to do on a quiet Saturday morning at 6am? Sleep you say? That’s not what was going through my mind a few weekends ago. Getting up at 6am to my great Nokia phone’s alarm, quickly scrambling to turn it off, whilst trying to remember why I’m waking up at such an hour. Remembering I’m going to be photographing one of the most explicit Accord CL7 EuroR’s in New Zealand – Bevan Wong’s [ R RTD ] Accord.

Rubbing my eyes attempting to wake up, I get my camera, lenses etc all together and organised, double checking I’ve remembered my memory card; Hi Pritesh! and checking my battery’s charged ready for the mission ahead. Once sorted I slip on my shoes, head out the door and up the driveway ready to be picked up to head to our location. Soon after, Bevan Wong picks me up off the side of the road and we get a move on to Auckland’s CBD. Having never been in Bevan’s car but spending a large amount of time around it, I studied the beautifully styled interior under the morning light, noticing all the personal details that have been added. Watching Bevan shift through gears with his colourful Blox gear knob, listening to the K20a Motor purr under acceleration; I felt pretty comfortable sitting in the factory Recaro seats.

Check out the magnificently coloured tip of the mufflers of the J’s Racing exhaust!

Finally arriving at McDonald’s Quay Street to meet with fellow CJC blogger Pritesh Dhanji to decide on locations over some breakfast, we head to the Auckland Public Library and from there, well I’ll let the photos talk..

An aggressive front end is the first thing you come across when looking at this car. The kit consists of a full facelift Mugen body kit, mixed with a J’s Racing Carbon bonnet to truly bring out the shape of this beast.

Big 19″ Work XSA 02C wheels cover the upgraded brakes, now featuring Brembo Calipers and S2000 rotors. Oh, and check out those nuts!

The rear end of the car is highlighted with a intimidating custom fitted DC5 Integra Carbon Mugen GT Wing..

The elegant interior sports a lot of Bevan’s personal touches, like a genuine Takata harness for the driver; with Bevan’s own custom harness bar which he fabricated – adding to the ‘straight from street to track’ theme.

Under the J’s Racing Carbon bonnet hides Honda’s famed K20A motor, which has had its share of aftermarket goodies added as well; from Honda’s Mugen catalogue through to some J’s Racing goodness.

Bevan’s [ R RTD ] Accord is definitely a car you can’t keep your eyes off! And I know that with more time under his ownership, it can only get better. With more aggressive fitment and wheel sizing come, I know I certainly can’t wait!

Now I attend a huge amount of motorsport events, ranging from grassroots car club level autocross to the comparitive glitz and glamour associated with International level circuit racing. A massive range of automotive treasures have graced my lens, but not too many vehicles make me screech to a halt dead in my tracks and leave me piecing my shattered mind back together the following evening. At the recent New Zealand Festival of Motor Racing (celebrating that perennial German sporting marque BMW, I must add) one such vehicle stood head and shoulders above the crop of this country’s elite Historic racing machinery. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Gary Wilkinson’s 1977 Group 5 Spec Zakspeed Escort Mark II.

Based upon the boxy Mark II Escort, maybe better known for it’s rampant World Rally successes, this car was initially built by Zakspeed in 1975 as a Group 2 – improved Touring car – racer to contest the DRM (German Racing Championship) series in Germany. It ran a couple of seasons in this guise, but for 1977 the wilder Group 5 regulations were introduced and lacking a competitive vehicle, Zakspeed set to work converting the venerable Escort to these specs. Famed German racing driver Hans Heyer piloted this car throughout the 1977 and 78 seasons, after which it made it’s way to Asia and was raced competitively until 1991 in a variation of guises. Following a period of inactivity, the car was purchased by Gary Wilkinson and brought over to New Zealand for a thorough restoration to it’s Group 5 specification.

The most immediately striking feature of these early Group 5 touring cars were the massive boxed arches grafted onto modified standard sheetmetal. Topping off the package were wings and spoilers that appeared to be straight out of a schoolboy automotive fantasy. Pure purpose, this retro aero provided a spectacle far beyond what the humble family sedan was ever intended.

So you think super wide BBS wheels are a new thing? Think again. Zakspeed endowed the Escort with massive feet to fill those cavernous arches, classic BBS motorsport mesh wheels measuring 16×11″ at the steering end, and 16×13″ at the skidding end. The Zakspeed boys’ class-act pit transport in the form of a vintage Raleigh Sports bicycle is also worthy of mention here!

Beneath the fibreglass bonnet, lurks screamer of a powerplant. What you see before you is a DOHC Cosworth BDG powerplant, the largest evolution of Cosworth’s BDA series of engines at 2 litres. Breathing through a gaping quadruplet of slide throttles, this engine produced 296hp at 9000rpm… that’s right, TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY SIX horsepower from a 35 year old 2 litre four. Using ropey old Lucas mechanical fuel injection to boot (you can see the drive to the metering unit at the top of the cam cover). Accompanying the impressive power output is an astonishing aural experience, to be expected from a highly strung small capacity race engine.

Inside, the Escort is all business. A classic 3 spoke suede RS style steering wheel provides direction, while important data is monitored via an array of beautiful 70′s spec chrome bezelled gauges.

To conclude, a montage of images taken from the track outings over the weekend – arguably, this car looks even better when it’s being punished on the tarmac. Huge props to Gary for having the conviction and dedication to the cause by taking this museum piece out and racing doorhandle to doorhandle with other valuable and exotic pieces of machinery. The calibre of old racecars that end up in New Zealand never ceases to enthrall me.

This past Sunday proved to be an enlightening experience, a breath of fresh air if you will – a step in the right direction. Clichéd superlatives aside, to say the least I was impressed – StanceOff 2012 was unlike any car event I’d attended in New Zealand.

Organised by the VASK community, StanceOff is a show for VAG cars (VW, Audi, Skoda etc) with a focus on what has become commonly know as “stance.” SO2012 was only the second StanceOff event and after seeing photos from the first event held last year we couldn’t help but head up to see what all the fuss was about. It was also an excellent opportunity to get out to support some smaller events and boy was it worthwhile.

After a prolonged journey from Hamilton due to multiple petrol stops and one blown car battery we arrived to see a sea of VAG stretching from the top of the street to the bottom with a good scattering of non-VAG European cars and a few Japanese cars thrown in for good measure.

MK2s dominated the event with the burgundy one on the right taking the overall Stance King award.

This rare VW Corrado was sitting perfectly on BBS RS.

This MK4 GTi was rolling on 19″ Porsche rims and picked up the best wheels award while the silver MK4 on SSRs next to it was sitting pretty damn sweet too.

Possibly the cleanest MK2 Jetta in the country

The dude who owns the Jetta above also rocks this Audi… on bags… and Bentley rims. Damn!

This MK3 Jetta was running a pretty serious 1.8T conversion and full cage. It’s cool to see some serious performance VWs coming through.

CJC member, Declan “umadbro” Spooner-Knight’s OG-spec Vento front MK3 was sitting fine on widened steelies with hubcaps.

This original Beetle was super clean and apparently was sitting on its highest suspension settings!

There were plenty of cars rocking widened steel rims and these looked damn cool in the sunlight

This E46 was probably the coolest of the non-VAG Euro’s

Paul “theres20thingsIdontlikeaboutmycarbutatleastIhaveanewbattery” Sanson added another award to his collection taking the award for “best of the rest” – the non-VAG award for cars not actually competing in the show.

There were a good number of Japanese cars outside the show including this ex-CJC AE…

And Shannon’s ballin’ Datsun 1600

More MK2 love…

Some of you New Zealanders would have seen this car one way or another, whether it’s cruising the streets of Auckland or Wellington. This Stanced/ Hellaflush/ Poke (whatever you want to call it) 2002 Impreza WRX is owned by one of our very own CJC members, Falgoon Patel.

I’ll make it very clear now, this car ain’t no trailered show pony! The car is daily driven at this height, and has damage to prove it. The car is regularly driven 650 odd kilometres between Auckland and Wellington. If you look closely, the front bumper even sports a custom quick release system, for those situation where the car just cant make it into that driveway or over that bump.

The car was originally built by Dijon Cars (aka 5Zigen) in Osaka, Japan. It was used as their Tokyo Auto Salon demo car in 2003 to showcase their new range of products for the new chassis.

I can confidently say, you won’t see many hot “bug eye” Impreza’s like this! The car has true character, whether it’s the 19×9.5″ +22 Volk TE37′s, the custom CF spoiler, Bride interior, it’s custom intake plenum made from a 5Zigen muffler, custom JIC Magic coil-over set-up, to 6 speed gearbox. Falgoon also still owns the custom clutch-less 5 speed gearbox which 5Zigen originally built the car with.

The custom CF wing has been donated from his old WRX, which has a slight aggressiveness but at the same time flows well with the lines of the WRX.

The interior sports a pair of Bride Zeta seats, paired with a set of Takata harness seat belts, re-trimmed Bride interior, and K’S water temp, oil temp, oil pressure and boost meters.

These last pics just show, what it costs to be the Boss!

Falgoon has been consistently pushing the boundaries with all of his cars, whether it was his 22B styled wide-body 4Dr Version 6 WRX, or his 372wkw Version 4 WRX wagon, to now this spectacular machine.

One last photo, which i took before this photo shoot.

Nigel’s bosssss Chaser….. the perfect motorway cruiser!

A huge thankyou must go to Loryn Bennett, who drove Falg’s WRX all the way up from Wellington, arriving in Auckland well into the night. Much appreciated Loryn! As well as Matt Dallimore who arrived extra early to clean off 700-odd kms of road grime before the show opened…you guys are legends!

Jordan picked up Best Original Paint for his flawless 30 series Corolla with a 4AGE swap. It was pretty awesome to watch this car progress over the course of the build into what it is now, with no detail left untouched.

Another shot of Bevan’s drool-inducing CL…

Jerk Bitter anyone?

Everybody together now…. “Awwwww, cuuuuuuuuute”

Full feature coming on the scooter in the next couple weeks….yes, srsly.

Another car I was stoked to have on the stand….Andrew’s DC2 drag car. Most of the “OG’s” know it as the FWD weapon Ronnie Lim smashed records with; I’m pretty excited to see what Andrew ends up doing with it.

The engine bay of Kelvin’s Capella. This must have been one of the most photographed bays of the event!

Jarrod’s RX-2…clean.

The GT Refinishers X CJC Drift Trike drew a lot of attention on the day too….not hard to see why haha.

Evidently I’d had enough of photographers by this stage….likewise with Toby behind me, being forced to break out the facepalm.

Patrick’s Mirage Cyborg… Love the colour of this car.

David took to scaling light trusses in pursuit of that perfect shot…Obviously it was worth it.

Lesson here – if you want to pull girls, buy a Ruckus.

This is the awesome group shot from David’s parkour efforts above, this shot was taken towards the end of the day once the public had left and we were starting to pack up…good job bro.

That concludes our coverage from the Nats this year…..I would like to say a huge thankyou to all the CJC extended family who helped us out and came and suppported us!

Also, to everyone that took the time to check out the stand or ask the owners questions about their cars….a massive thanks from everyone here at CJC, you guys are the reason we enter these shows!

Time for part II of our story.

After setting up at the show we headed out to Gengys - which for those of you joining us from overseas, is a Mongolian BBQ Buffet…basically you choose the raw ingredients of your meal, whatever you want, and give it to the chef who cooks it right there in front of you on the giant hot plate…. needless to say most of us were at food coma stage after a couple hours.

We headed back to the Showgrounds bright and early to give the cars a quick once-over before the doors opened to the public… as you can see, Wong was pretty excited.

Pretty soon the crowds started rolling in and it was time for us to take a bit of a wander around the rest of the show.

Fraser Simpson’s phenomenal widebody NSX was a few cars down from our stand – this thing was breaking necks the entire day. And for good reason, it’s not often (or ever) you see a JGTC NSX replica sitting at a car show here.

On the NZHondas stand with the NSX was my friend Andrew’s Shuttle…this thing runs a 1.8L Vtec engine, and has heaps of little custom touches like the EF9 front with J’s Racing lip. Personally I love the venetian blinds in the back…too pimp.

The 86 Fighters stand was on point – as usual. These guys had an even sweeter lineup than last year, with some incredibly tidy cars that also look like they get used for having a lot of fun!

I spent a great deal of time drooling over this Levin in particular…. A “Notchback” AE85 is one car I have promised myself I will own!

In the next hall over from us lay my 2 favourite cars from the 4 and Rotary show prior to this one… The Jetta and Maserati both rolling on very proper BBS wheels. You can’t see it in this photo but the Audi on the right of the Maserati was sporting a set of Bentley rims which suited it down to the ground…as in, it was actually on the ground.

I got told that this is owned by the same dude who has the Jetta above….props to you once again sir, for raising the bar once more! Also check the numberplate… coincidence?

After a quick look around the hot rod/ V8 hall I strolled back to our stand to see how it was being received by the public…. and also to make sure Dai Goh Wong was behaving himself….

I think he’d just spotted David taking this photo..

….

We had 18 cars on our stand this year and every one of them deserved it! Ants and myself thought long and hard about what rides we wanted on there…our aim this year was to showcase the huge variety of top quality that makes CJC what it is, and I think our lineup showed that perfectly. <3

Nigel’s showroom condition Honda Accord is one car I would happily own in a heartbeat – The Work Equips suit its early 80′s style perfectly.

Next to Nigel was Wayne’s Silvia – just prior to the show he had fellow Jerk and GT Refinishers owner/boss dawg Grant paint his rims in an incredible metallic teal – it may seem an odd combo but I can only say, you see it in person and you’ll understand….the teal was the perfect choice!

The Wong Fitment Crew was out in force with Bevan bringing down his clean Accord…Carbon errrrywhere on this thing.

Taryn’s MX-5 was one of the stars of the stand, with a constant stream of people stopping to ask questions…

But maybe they were just lured in by the purple sparkle everywhere….

See?? Actually everywhere. This is one car that has a lot of feminine touches but still manages to look extremely tough.

This year the number of sets of CCW’s on our stand doubled – Jarrod brought over a set for his RX-2. This car has been in the build since before I got into “the scene” at all, so it was an honour to have it on our stand, even though it was incomplete! So expect to see it at the Nats in 2018….

After a year he’d probably rather forget (think engine bay fires) George Maddever Esq. once again had his car back together in the nick of time… this is one angry sounding Lotus! I believe he entrusted it to some 1970′s used car salesman chap who was running around; I haven’t heard if he got it back with any cocaine in the ashtray.

Meanwhile, Paul, Matt and Royce were sharing a tender moment at what looks like the CJC Iphone convention..

While I was being stalked by several people with cameras.. :S

I just love this shot of the LHD Datsun. Yes, that is the original tailgate, and pretty much what the rest of the body looked like before Mr GT Refinishers got his hands on it and transformed it..

…into the clean, simple truck you see here.

Kelvin & Anae’s wheel collection was proving to be very popular, along with Tank’s Jerk Breweries delivery scooter – yes, the monster tach and shift light are fully functional; no hardparking here!!

The engine bay of Paul’s RX-7 was looking a bit different this year – with a tonne of custom pipework , trick V mount set-up as well as those CCWs, it’s no surprise he took out best series 6-8 RX-7 for a consecutive time. This car is everything a street car should be – clean, understated, and the perfect mix of show and go.

Backing onto Paul’s car was the famous Big Red – Wong’s eternal project. We got this car back as a bare shell from the painters on Christmas Eve – Engine went in after a few brews on Christmas day! From then it was a pretty steady pace getting it back together for the show – plenty of late nights and plenty of house music on the garage stereo.

Ants has really put a lot of thought into this build, with packages arriving at our house almost weekly, loaded with custom parts.

Phil’s S2000…always a crowd favourite. Meisters and Spoon brakes will have that effect…

Back at the beanbags, a small crowd had gathered to listen to the Buddyclub reps’ sales pitch…as you can see, they were riveted.

Onto my personal favourite car of the show – Kelvin’s Mazda Capella. This thing is just so different to any other oldschool RX you see in NZ, from the OG SSR wheels to the 13BT powerplant…the guy is in a league of his own. There was a permanent crowd around the engine bay!

…in fact there were so many people around it that I’m going to have to use Taryn’s Hellaflush photos shot during the media-only night before!

The fitment, the factory paint outside and the crisp new red inside the spotless engine bay, right down to the custom wing – this car is spot on in every aspect. It’s come a long way from Alice Springs… literally.

Well I’ve been doing this for hours now, still haven’t sorted through all the photos and there’s still a sh!tload of stories to tell and people to thank – this is going to have to be a 3-parter!

I’ll close with this excerpt from the latest Performance Car Magazine that arrived in our mailbox today -

” Next to Oldschool sat the massive Circle Jerk Crew stand, which housed nearly twenty cars of all different makes and models, but all with the same next-level approach to style, toughness and general bad-ass factor.
Thanks for the love guys! Nice to be appreciated…. haha.

Part 3 coming soon – I promise!
