Few years ago, I was in the hunt for a DSLR camera when I spotted on a car forum that one of the local users was selling one fairly cheap. I decided it was the perfect camera for me to start learning a bit of photography with, but without spending my life savings. So I text the phone number and went to meet the seller. Thats when I met Joseph.

Joe had a fairly simple, stock, JDM S14 Silvia in silver. Wearing some 17×8 A-tech wheels. With nothing much else done to it, it was his daily driven car and still is!

However since those days, the car has had a bit of a make over.. to begin the modifying the first thing to go was the stock 4 stud brakes, with Joe upgrading to Z32 brakes front and rear with 296mm rotors up front.

Recieving stance in the form of Genuine Work CR-Kai’s fitting 18×9.5 +12 all round (5mm spacers up front with an effective +7 offset) and with this stance it was going to required aftermarket suspension support, thanks to Part Shop Max.

With wheels and suspension being looked after, next up was some aero. Joe pieced together a JDM aero kit, bit by bit. And after searching local car forums he found more pieces he wanted, coming in the form of Origin roof and boot spoilers. Somewhere in the mix Joe also opted for some Behrman taillights to spice the rear end up even more.

During all this time the interior has had some love too, with the addition of a S15 Silvia’s driver seat, 350mm Deep Corn Nardi steering wheel and some electronics, its not over the top.

Every time I see this car there’s something new being added and I’m sure one day soon it will be rocking a new powerplant to ensure it goes just as well as it looks – Joe’s car is a good example of great things take time!
