A couple weekends on from the 4 & Rotary Supershow, we had another meet up at our Jerk family member’s restaurant of fried chicken and curly fries. For most, this meet was only planned the night before so we weren’t too sure on what the turn out was gonna be….. Come 8pm jerks start to roll in the door to get a long overdue dinner. The fryers are roaring and the orders numbers are getting high, waiting times stretching longer and longer.

The shit talking got underway immediately – as usual – half of us had mouths filled with succulent chicken, the other half laughing at us ‘pigs’ while they waited. As the evening progressed the orders were coming out faster and more and more Jerks were walking in through the door .
Our buddy Royce never ceases to amaze me with the amount he can eat, here is his chicken fillet burger, with 2 extra chicken fillets, bacon and an egg (no tomato though)

Damian and Damien both stuffing their face whilst Royce sits regretting how much he’d just eaten.

Anthony Wong the god of chicken wings had time to socialise between frying chicken and and tossing rice.

Ian “Heeeeeeeeyladiez” James made time outside of battlefield 3 to come hangout, and we all appreciated that.

After everyone had eaten Wong’s right out of chicken, we headed down to the famous local workshop to hang out and wet down the pad for some drifting/gymkhana sessions. Royce took control in his non turbo rb20e r32 Skyline, showing us mere mortals how it’s done.

PJ came out and ripped up his 325i e30 BMW.
.
Damien brought out his very cool, very retro 1983 Mitsubishi Sigma Wagon.

The star of the show was Anae’s factory turbo Ford Laser. He turned heads everywhere as he started ripping up tarmac forwards and backwards, making for a lot of fun! It was good to hear the car still made it back to Auckland intact!

The crew lit up a classic bon fire and begun their weekend with some beer and bourbon; and another CJC Friday night drew to a close.
