Have you ever been driving down the road, and seen a nice car in the distance… and thought to yourself “What is that? a Honda, a Nissan?… whatever it is, it looks pretty sweet!” I had one of these moments a few weeks ago with what you see here, Terry Yee’s 2004 Honda Accord Euro CL9. All I could see was something black, with hellaflush wheels and nicely tucking on the gaurd, later realising it was Terry.

Some of you may have seen this car around Auckland, and may be thinking, “I’ve seen another one like this but with different wheels…”. Well more than likely your not mistaken, it’s most likely the same car. This has been through quite a few different wheel setups to say the least!
He’s had all of the below in the space of 4 years:
Rays CE28N: 19×8.5 +43
Desmond Regamsters: 18×8.5 +35
Eins Kahn 5 (Rays Engineering): 18×8 +35, 18×9 +38
Advan RG: 18×8.5 +31
Enkei Winsome 17×8, 17×9 +38
SSR Formula Mesh: 17×8, 17×9 +38
The car sits nicely on a set of Daiyama coilovers. The current wheel setup is a set of genuine BBS LM’s, 18×9 +2(F), 18×9 +15(R) incl. 5mm spacers.

For the body, Terry went for a set of CL7 Euro R front and rear lower lips, side skirts, Mugen grill, and a Mugen duckbill boot spoiler, which without a doubt one of the most perfectly matched spoilers for the Accord Euro’s!

What you have to appreciate about the car is that it’s not overdone, nor understated, but is what it is, if that makes sense… It doesn’t turn heads for the wrong reasons, but when it does, it’s one of those cars where you cant help but take a few more extra looks.

Again, like many of the cars you will see here on CJC, it’s sometimes those simple mods executed well, that we love the most!

Thanks to Terry for taking the time out to let us cover his car.
