So the other night we had some Jerks come round to help out Ants with his engine swap. The mission for the night – pull the old D-series that had given 300,000kms of faultless performance out; and replace it with ah…something else that should see it moving a little faster. There were laughs, stories, and some work got done too, something different for a Hamilton build! I took some photos, most came out terrible thanks in part to the newly installed fluro lighting in our garage, (I swear we were all getting tans at 3am) and in part to my unfamiliarity with Ants’ bling bling asian DSLR.

A tired but pleased Wong – engine is in! There are still a few parts to arrive that he needs to complete the swap, but the big hurdle is out of the way with the engine and car now becoming one. We’ll keep you guys updated!

@ Brent: Dunno yet, plan is to get it running right on OEM ECU, with just bolt on’s. Car needs to be torn down and binned, or sent to panel shop.
